Another 120 alleged victims of rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs come forward
Rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing hundreds of new allegations amid federal charges.
In short:
Sean Combs, 54, has been behind bars in New York since pleading not guilty to federal sex trafficking charges.
More of his alleged victims, described as 60 males and 60 females, have come forward.
An attorney for Mr Combs says the musician "categorically denies" the allegations.
An additional 120 people have come forward with sexual misconduct allegations against US rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs who is awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
Houston attorney Tony Buzbee said the federal charges had broken "the wall of silence" around Mr Combs and he expected civil lawsuits to be filed within the next month.
Mr Buzbee described the alleged victims as 60 males and 60 females, and said 25 were minors at the time of the alleged misconduct.
The youngest alleged victim was just nine, he added, saying the plaintiff alleged he was sexually abused by Mr Combs during an audition at Bad Boy Records.
In several cases, victims will allege that they were drugged with horse tranquilliser, and that many of the incidents occurred at Mr Combs's infamous parties.
Mr Combs during his first court hearing for federal charges brought against him New York.
"I expect in this process many powerful people will be exposed," Mr Hubee said on Tuesday, local time, noting other individuals would be named as defendants when the lawsuits were filed.
He also implored them to come forward now, saying: "You can't hide skeletons in the closet forever."
Andrew Van Arsdale, one of the plaintiff's attorneys, called the alleged pattern of abuse "unprecedented".
Following the announcement, an attorney for Mr Combs said the performer could not address "every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus".
"That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors," attorney Erica Wolff said in a statement.
"He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court if and when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation."
Mr Combs, 54, has been behind bars in New York since pleading not guilty to federal charges that he used his "power and prestige" to induce female victims into drugged-up, elaborately produced sexual performances with male sex workers in events dubbed "Freak Offs".
Other alleged victims have already filed lawsuits against Mr Combs that include allegations of sexual assault.
Mr Combs has pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
His attorney said he was innocent and would fight to clear his name.
Sean "Diddy" Combs — who has gone by the names Puff Daddy, P Diddy and Love — is an American rapper, actor and entrepreneur who founded an entertainment empire, including Bad Boy Records.
